Cheyenne Frontier Days, Parade before Show, 1956.
Update 2008: Black and white print. Snapshot. Image of a parade of horseback riders riding along the track at a fairgrounds. First group of four riders are carrying the American and Wyoming State Flags. Second group is only two female riders, each with their cowboy hat raised in greeting. Larger group of riders follows. Fence and entrance chute #4 and a few spectators in foreground. Large open arena beyond a low single rail fence in midground. Spectators at center and right side. Grand Stand with spectators and corrals and tipis visible in background with row of trees at horizon.
Written on back in blue ink: "parade at Frontier Ground before show." Added in pencil: "(1956)"
Paper curled. Soiled and pencil mark on back. Slight corner damage. Writing on back impacting emulsion at top. Cracks in emulsion throughout.Collection
