Cheyenne Frontier Days, Parade, Old Deadwood Coach, 1956.
Update 2008: Black and white print. Snapshot. Image of a horsedrawn stagecoach moving down a city street in front of a large stone building partially hidden by trees . Six people are riding on top of the coach, one person is visible inside. Man dressed in slacks, long sleeve shirt, boots, hat and white tie can be seen standing in the street at right. He is holding a paper in his left hand, which is resting on his lap.
Signs on the coach: "Old Deadwood Coach 1861." "Pioneers-Of the Sixties." "On Old Deadwood Trail."
Two men are driving the team and a third man foreground is holding a shotgun. Woman and two girls are seated on top behind men.
Written on back in blue ink: " Frontier Parade". Added in pencil:"(1956?)"
Paper curled. Writing on back impacting emulsion at top. Corner damage-upper and lower left corners bent and emulsion cracked. A few scratches on emulsion surface.Collection
