Photo of the presentation of the "Collier Trophy" to the State of Wyoming on Feb. 7, 1925 at the Capitol Building. Nellie Ross was Governor. Update 2008: Black and white print of large group of men and women and a few children standing on the steps of the Wyoming State Capital Building. They are primarily dressed in suits nd hats. Most all have heavy looking coats on. The women are all wearing long coats. There are several males in various types of uniforms. A boy scout is seen on side right. The focus of the group is a man and woman to the front of the group with a trophy of an American Eagle with its wings expanded resting on a small table between them. A bicycle is propped against a sandstone pilaster on side left which has a lamppost top it as does the other side. People are standing atop this feature in both sides of the wide stairs. An United States flag is on side left and an unclear type flag is on side right. Printed from negative in white contrast on bottom front edge of print: Presentation of the"Collier" Trophy to the State of Wyoming Feb. 7th, 1925. (Doubleday) Written on back in blue green ink: When Nellie T. Ross was governor of Wyo. Condition is good. Slight soiling front and back of print. Slight stimpling of emulsion surface at various areas. Tiny abrasive spots over entire top surface seen when viewed with magnifier as though sandblasted.
