Update - 2009: Black & white print attached to black matboard which has been cut down with rough edges exposed. Photo shows Colonel H. B. Carrington in dark military uniform with a long, dark double breasted frock coat with rows of eight buttons on each side. A white collar shows at uniform neck edge. He is standing with a hat and a cane in his left hand at side. A white handkerchief is stuck in his jacket at an angle at his right. His hair is light colored. He has a grayish mustache and scraggily beard. A man with a dark suit is standing behind Carrington holding an open umbrella over his head. Other men all seen standing in background with a white lumber fence support and attaching fence wire in background creating a separation from men in front to men in background.
Written on back in black ink: Col. H.B. Carrington.
A red and green circular sticker on back 1 3/4" diameter with white print reads: James & Perry Kodak, cameras, photo supplies, developing & prints, Sheridan, Wyo.
Good condition with slight soiling, a dark mark in surface top left from developing process. Minor soiling and fingerprints at top right. Few tiny black specks on print.Collection
