Photo taken about 1898-1900 group on wool bales. Madge Daley, Celia Smith, Hugh Murray, Jim Rendle, Anna Rendle, Scotty McKay. Man lying across a man at center front is probably W. W. Daley. (See 1947.003.0354.
Update - 2009: A black & white print attached to ivory matboard that has a decorative embossed border on edges. Print shows a group of four men dressed in various styles of jackets & hats with three women dressed in very fancy vintage type dresses and hats. All these people are sitting atop very large stuffed bags stacked 4-5 high. Corners of bags all tied creating a small ball on the corners. Printed on the bags in dark ink is a brand, a double bar rocker and TL.
Written on back in pencil: "taken about 1898 or 1900"

Mat is slightly soiled with minor indention and tiny stain at top, bottom right corner of mat is bent and worn. Print has scuff look to it with fingerprints, soiled stain spot, other scratches are seen in emulsion surface.Collection
