Large photo in a heavy gold frame of Lee Stitt when he was two years old. d. 1967
Update 2013: Portrait of Owen Lee Stitt, Jr. as a young boy (toddler). He has blond, wavy hair. It is a colored studio portrait. The wood frame is a wide ornate metallic gold color. Outer frame measures 18 3/4" x 26 3/4." A letter handwritten on the back of the frame reads: Donation for Carbon County Museum at Rawlins, WY: "This picture is a photograph of Owen Lee Stitt, Jr., son of Helen Childs Stitt (Johnson) and Own Stitt, Sr. His grandfather was John Childs, a pioneer of Carbon County whose daughter at one time owned the famous "old Cottage Hotel." This picture was given to me by his niece Katherine, (I don't remember her name) Mrs. Doctor McNamara would know the history. Signed Mrs. Fern? Ferris? Kimmel." This letter was placed in the original donor book under McNamara, Blanche. This photograph had previously been given T1140.Collection
