Scope and Content

Program for the 4th annual High Plains Powwow, September 10, 2016, held at the Carbon County Fairgrounds in Rawlins, put on by the museum. Program utilizes a "circle" theme, so that each page has black, and then part of a circle shape to highlight either a photograph of text. The inside front cover has a table of events, p1 has a table of contents, p2 a Wlecome from the director, p3 a list of sponsors, p4 "What to expect", p5 a description of powwows, p6-7 listing of Head Staff, p8-9 descriptions of the types of dances, p10-11 a brief history of Native American Indians in Carbon County, p12 information on the Museum, and the inside back cover has a list of Dance Categories. The back cover has a map of Rawlins' services and amenities. Program was designed by Stacy Fevinger, with input by other museum staff.
