Photo of sheep corrals--shearing. two copies.
Update - 2009: Black & white print showing a group of 22 men in front of a very long stable type structure with a metal roof. The men are in an open fenced corral. Eighteen of the men are bent over in the process of shearing sheep with their hand shears. Others are standing above sheep with shears in hand. Four men are seated on corral fence rail. foreground shows wide expanse of debris laden barren ground. There was a second copy of this print, but was disposed of due to black mold.
Written on back - vertical blue green mark.
Written on back in black ink: 1897 shearing operations on the Daley Pens. Same pictures taken in 1900 Others in 1922
Written on back of second copy: Sheep shearing about 1900
Fair condition with heavy soiling & dark smudges on front surface and back side of print. Unknown dark residue on bottom left edge. Edges appear to have been cut down as edges are very rough.Collection
