Black & white glossy print of a railroad flat car loaded with Rawlins Sandstone. Painted on side of car: "Union Pacific 10085". Large slabs of rock are on the flat car with a sign on the side of them reading: "This car contains 55 tons of Rawlins Gray Sandstone for the Federal Building Cheyenne. H. Larson, Shipper". On photo right background is a two story building with dormer window. On left background is a one story building with four chimneys. A fire hydrant is in left foreground. Several sets of tracks are seen.
Written on back in black ink: "Taken from north side of tracks looking south. Depot on left, U P Hotel on right".
Written in blue ink: (same as black) but partially ripped off from removal of adhesive tape. "railroad-e"
Good condition. Creased, wrinkled, scratched, white vertical streak on left edge, negative anomaly. Size 4 7/8 x 6 3/4".Collection
