Update February 2011: Black & white print card of stone building with multi levels on photo right end. The roof has a dormer window & a conical tower on front corners. There are rectangular windows & an arch door. An extension toward photo left has a lot of circular vents on the roof & nine tall narrow windows. Tall fence posts & a gate are in front of building.
Written on bottom in black on original negative: "State Penitentiary Rawlins, Wyo."
Printed on back in black: "POSTCARD" "This side for address" "Place Postage Stamp Here" above and below "CYKO"
Good condition. Accretion, edges & corners worn, creased. Size 3 1/2 x 5 1/2"
Update 2018: Photo is pre-1916 due to the absence of a cement wall.Collection
