Update - 2009: A black & white studio portrait attached to cream-colored mat with lower edge of mat engraved with gold script: W. A. Johnston (side left / Photographer printed on side right). All outer edges are gilded. Image depicts a man with dark wavy hair with a slight Pompadour in front. His dark mustache curls up on side left. he is dressed in dark jacket with white shirt & tie.
Written on front in blue ink A. A. McNamara.
Tiny white sticker on back white McNamara written in pencil.
Good condition with yellowing on back left edges & some black smudges on back surface. Front surface - minor soiling of fingerprints & smudges on edges. Scuffmarks in emulsion at center of print on man's suit & face with lifted emulsion showing white marks on his chin.Collection
