Update - 2009: A black & white studio portrait attached to gray mat & one copy. A decorative dark oval ecru colored ribbon surrounds print with a separate bow at edge above image with it's ribbon ends twining down around oval a very small distance.
Print shows a man with lighter colored hair with side left part wearing a medium colored suit jacket, white shirt, light colored vest, dark necktie, & rimless wire frame glasses. A dark handkerchief is seen side left breast pocket.
Written on back blue green ink: Kirk Miller. Tiny white sticker on back - Miller in pencil
Good condition, but mat has large unknown stains side right & bottom lower edges. Mat has lifted top surface paper with bent right corner. Small smudge at top edges. Print has few scratches in emulsion surface with few tiny black dots side right. All corners extremely worn.
Engraved on original on lower right corner: "The Ferris Studio Rawlins, Wyo".
Copy: Written on back in blue ink: "Kirk Miller"
Written on back in pencil: "Carbon County Rancher whose father, I. C. Miller had started the company in 1873"
