Black & white glossy copy print. Image of a well stocked interior of a store. On photo left are tall shelves lined with pots, pails, tea kettles & coffee pots. On shelves in left back are long handled farm implements, shovels & pitch forks. Right side shelves are lined with cans, dishes & buckets. The left side floor has an ornate carved wood buffet with mirrored back. A man stands beside it with his right arm resting on the top. Behind him is another piece of wood furniture & a wood cook stove. On right side the counter has glass display cases with various items in them. Both sides on the floor are lined with bicycles. Light fixtures hang from the ceiling & a bird cage hangs on photo right. Two more men are on photo right, one behind the counter & one in front.
Typed on a white adhesive tag: "Interior of Jungquist Store"
Stamped in black: "Copy Provided By The Wyoming State Archive and Historical Department". "191".
Fair condition. Top left torn & creased, wrinkled, rainbow emulsion, developing anomaly has left marks across top, creased, adhesive tape on top back.
Update 02/15/2013: Original print located during inventory. This print is mounted on ivory colored mat, which has been cut off even with print. (This photograph had been T3111). Written on the back in blue ink: "Interior of Jungquist Store." Written on back in black ink: "copied by state mounted" and "191." There is blue ink small drawing at back left edge. Masking tape remnants, black smudges, worn edges, small crack in emulsion, unknown residue on lower edge, and other anomalies are seen at photograph front and back. Measures 6 1/8" x 8." This photograph had been found with a frame only given by Alex Gordon, 1954.225.0015.Collection
