Update 2008: Two black and white prints, 3 1/4 x 5 1/2, of early day road building with a team of dapple gray horses and a primitive scraper shaped like solid wedge attached to crossbar by a chain? The scraper has two wooden handles (one on each side).
Print A: The horses are headed toward a hill in background. Four men are standing in background to front and side of horses. Another man dressed in medium toned pants, lighter shirt and light high crowned hat is holding onto the teams quide reins at the side rear. The attached scraper is on the ground with its handles folded toward the rear of the team. Vegetation is in foreground with more arid area in background.
Print A condition fair: Photo slight soiled at top and sides. All corners are bent and emulsion is cracked. Slight wrinkling and tears on sides. Writing on back shows through to front side. A corner is torn of top left.

Print B: The team of horses are in foreground facing camera angle, with the hill and two men in background. A man with medium colored pants, lighter shirt and light colored high crowned hat is holding onto horses guide rains at rear of horses and scraper. A man dressed in dark coveralls, light shirt, and hat is holding onto the scraper handles evaluating scraper. Vegetation is on photo side left with more arid area in background.
Print B condition good: Slight soiling on edges, small crimps at corners. Very tiny crack in emulsion at top edge. Black speck of residue side left and top center.
