Photo of 300 Block. E. T. Burke Law Office. He was Edna's father. The Hugus Store building located on the corner of 3rd and Front st. The corner building was built in 1881.
Update 2009: Black and white print of two store fronts, on 300 block of Front St. Building on left is black and has sign across top reading: "J.W. Hugus & Co." There are two large windows to either side of double door entrance. A light pole stands in front on photo left. There are three windows on top level. Sign above door on lower level reads: "J.W. Hugus & Co. General Merchandise". Sign on corner of store "Groceries Clothing Boots Shoes." Lower level has two large windows, double door entrance. in front are five people. A set of wood spoke wheels with tongue are in dirt street in front. Horses tethered on photo right of building. Printed on front in white on original negative:L "Compliments of E. T. Burke." Written on bottom front in black ink: "Corner of Front and Third St.". Written on back in black ink: "2-Daily Times". "E.T. Burke-Lige (Elijaz) Burke was Edna Burke's father. " "Duplicate-mounted" "Business-C".
Condition good. Bottom of print rubbed, emulsion impacted right side, creased.
One 5 x 7" black & white copy print. Note attached to back with transparent tape: Stone building on left built about 1878 by Fred Wolf. 1878 Fred Wolf Saloon 2-80 Ann Johnson Restaurant 10-80 J. J. W. Hugus" "Hawley Furniture from 1-87 to 9-87".

Good condition. Staple holes in upper left corner. Emulsion cracked. Lower right corner bent & cracked. Upper corners bent.Collection
