5X8 back and white on original board of several men in overhauls and white shirts. Miners.
Update 2008: Sepia print. Photo of men on the side of a hill. Some have sledge hammers in their hands. There appears to be 15 men with most of them in overalls and long sleeved tops. All but two have on hats. Three have on jackets.
Photo is mounted on dark matboard which is torn on the left side and on the bottom. All four corners are frayed. There is a piece of string in the left and right upper corners that goes all the way through the matboard and around the top. One has been broken. The other is tied together. Photo has left upper corner missing and has small sections missing from the top, left and bottom sides. PHoto appears to have been glued to the matboard. Emulsion is wavey and scratched. Back of matboard is soiled and stained, also torn and pieces missing.Collection
