Black & white glossy copy print. Image of a man standing in front of a tent. He is holding a paper up in front of his face. At his feet are bags, wood boxes, a tub & jugs with a funnel. On one of the bags is printed: "Jackson Bros. Photographers". An "A" frame tent with flap doors open, has dark spots on the side of the canvas. In the background is a hill with a rock formation. High line poles are at the base of the hill. Railroad tracks are beside the poles.
Typed on negative: "The photographer and his working outfit along the line of the Union Pacific Railroad in 1869. The developing box is on the ground in front. The tent was used for both work room and living quarters."
