Photo of group on the Old Courthouse steps: Harry Hansen, Fannie Murray, Rick Magor, S. Park, Mildred McIntosh, Les Magor, Mrs. Heath, Rubie Rivera. Update 2008: Black and white print of a group of men and women standing on the steps of the Carbon County Courthouse that was built in 1882. A man identified as Harry Hansen is standing on bottom step dressed in dark 3 piece suit with white shirt and tie with right hand in jacket pocket. Next to him is Fannie Murray, who is dressed in long dark 2 piece suit with wide white blouse collar and wide white cuffs showing on outside of jacket. Her dark hair is parted in center and is in an updo. Next to her is Rick Magor in a medium color 2 piece suit with white shirt and tie. In foreground is S. Park an older man with white beard and mustache, wearing 3 piece suite with white shirt and tie. Behind him is Mildred McIntosh wearing long white skirt /dress with dark jacket. Her medium dark hair is in an updo which is parted in the middle. Next to her is Les Magor wearing dark pants and jacket, white shirt and tie tucked in side front shirt at middle . To his rear is Mrs. Heath wearing a long dark skirt and dark long sleeve blouse . her medium colored hair is in an updo. On photo right side of front step is Rubie Rivera wearing med. dark pants and jacket with white shirt and bow tie. He has a white piece of paper in his right hand and he is holding something in his left hand. he has a small mustache. The courthouse is of light sandstone bricks with its two dark wooden doors showing at top of stairs. Photos is mounted on black acidic matboard photo has torn edges on all sides even though it is adhered to matboard. There is a crack from top to bottom through photo and matboard where someone has placed cellophane tape which is yellowed and cracked. This has caused damage to photo where is has lifted up emulsion. Dark stains on bottom right. Soiling and emulsion lifting at various areas. Names are written on back in pencil. Back of matboard is missing to surface at corners and residue of tape on crack on this side also.
