Scope and Content

Rans Baker Notes of Range Dispute involving Andy Nelson, 1902. Dispute over grazing land between P. J. Dunn and Andy Nelson. Nelson was grazing sheep on what he claimed was government land; Dunn claimed that the land was his private property. Dunn pulled out his Winchester -- a dog was killed and a sheep was wounded. Dunn was ultimately fined $25.00 for assault.
