Ray Ferris and Malachi Dillon, 1902-04.
Update 2008: Black and white print mounted to ecru tag board and two glossy reprints. Print at irregular angle shows a large wall tent with metal stove inside, stovepipe extending through tent roof, and two men, one kneeling by stove and cooking. One is seated on large wooden box watching the man cooking. Tent is placed on an arid grassy area with scrub brush in near background and bare hilly expanse in far background. A black dog is at tent left. A metal pan and wooden bucket is on ground by tent front. A light colored dog is lying on ground to right as are saddles.
Written in pencil on matboard at bottom: Ray Ferris, Malachi Dillon.
Written on white tag on back in pencil: Ferris Haggarty Mine.
Men are dressed in same clothes as 1947.001.0005.
Fair condition with slight fading. Soiling and wear on all edges. Tape adhesive residue at bottom on matboard. Tiny stains and black flecks on top surface at various locations .
