Update - 2009: Black & white print mounted on black portrait with gilt edge. Studio portrait. Family portrait with painted backdrop, feathered edges. Man & woman seated surrounded by seven children - 3 boys, 3 girls & an infant. Girls are dressed in white; boys in lower suits - boy at center front wears striped socks & very wide white lace collar. Infant is in a white dress & is seated on the woman's lap.
Typed on piece of brown tape pasted to mat back: "John C Gunning family."

Written on back in blue ink: "4"
Written on back in pencil: "Page 95, pix 4 3/4 50%".
Mounted on acid & matboard. Edge & corner damage on mat. Mat back soiled. Emulsion surface scratched. Slightly scuffed & soiled; fingerprints in lower left.
