Update 2008: Black and white print affixed to ivory colored mat board that has been cut off on bottom edge. Photo shows a large group of three rows of primarily young children with a priest in photo center of second row an a group of adults to back right corner behind third row of children. The group is posed in front of a wooden church building with an oval shaped top window side left and a square bottom showing multiple panes top to bottom. Building front door is to right edge of print. There are short weeds in foreground with wide expanse of cleared ground in front of children.
On left side of first row is a man with mustache kneeling by little girl with long coat and white tie hat, this hat is in his right hand and touching the ground. He has his left arm encircling little girls waist. Young boys have on short knicker type pants with long dark socks and shoes. they are mostly all holding a hat in their hands. Girls are dressed in long dressed and mostly wearing fancy hats. The priest in center has on dark cassock and has his right hand tucked in waist sash. Adults at back are dressed in dark clothing. Women have head wear and one man has hat in his hand. The children seem very somber.
Photo is in fair condition. Very soiled on edges and on front and back sides. Top right corner of mat has wide bend and tear which has been taped. Worn edges and corners. Stains of brownish substance are flecked at mat and photo top and sides. Black specks on print itself from unknown residue. Smudges, scratches, indentations and other anomalies are on photo surface. Matboard is excessively stained and soiled. A white line runs left to right across bottom of photo from unknown cause.
