Black and white album about the Spanish American War, 1898 that belonged to Elmer Wilk
Update February 2011: Black paper cover & pages with black & white snapshot prints. On front cover in white "Photograph" "These snapshots were among the Jungquist collection of Pictures. found among things Elmer Wilk bought & gave to Carbon County Museum Rawlins, Wyo 1958" In white on inside cover: "These pictures were made from old fashioned dry plate glass negatives by Dean Miller" Pages hold 11 prints, eight are taken in 1898 of soldiers & farewell gatherings at depot. Places of note are Union Pacific Hotel, Vintage steam engine & coaches. Three prints are of Lilly Jungquist, Jungquist home, wading in Platte River (3 girls), lake & timbered hillside.
Good condition. Prints emulsion impacted. Size 5 x 7"Collection
