Photo of Baggs taken in 1903. House in foreground has been here for 63 years and was owned by Mr. and Mrs. Will Gaddis. They lived there in the summers. Two copies.
update 2/2008: Sepia print. Mounted on grey matboard. Overview image from elevation of a small town on the prairie. Low hills in the background. Dirt tracks make "Y" at center left edge.
Yellowed paper pasted to back: [in black ink] "This picture of Baggs, Wyo. was taken in 1903[.] Please take good care of it[.] Mrs. Will G. Gaddis" [in pencil] "House in foreground had been here 63 years[.] owned by Mr. and Mrs. Will Gaddis[.] where live in summer-".
Written on back in black ink: "Copied by State" "Mounted".
Mounted on acidic matboard. Mat cut down from original size to image edge-edges tattered and missing chunk of image from lower left edge. Upper right corner of mat and image bent and cracked. Badly soiled and stained, front and back. Image surface scuffed. Faded.
One (1) 3 1/2 x 5 1/8 black and white copy print. Written on back in black ink: "Picture of Baggs 1903" "Page 18(10)". Group number written on back impacting emulsion at center top.

Good condition. Wrinkled, crease, yellow adhesive on back. Size 5 x 7"Collection
