Black & white print card with blue sky. Image of a two story building with front entry that juts out on front of building, that is only one level. Entry has large windows on front & sides, with multi divided panes, & front door. Outside stairs are attached to building & lead to a door on upper level on photo left. Front upper level has three windows & photo left side has three windows on upper & lower level. Bars are on all windows except entry. A walk surrounds the building. Two small trees & some bushes are in front of the building. Two men are on a bench in front. Printed at top of card in black: "1. Hospital Building Wyoming State Penitentiary Rawlins, Wyo"
Printed on back in green: "POST CARD" "ADDRESS" on left edge: "E C Kropp Co. Milwaukee" "PLACE STAMP HERE" inside green lines.
