Black & white print on tan mat of a parade passing in front of the Wyoming State Penitentiary. In the lead is a large wagon pulled by horses. An American flag flies above wagon & wagon & horses are decorated. A long line of multi rows of mounted horsemen follow with more flags. Men & women observers are on the side of a dirt road or in the brush along side of the road. Building behind them is multi story with uniform windows, arch door & spires at corners & another section toward photo left has seven tall rectangular windows & circular vents on the top.
Written on back in black ink: "Wyoming State Penitentiary in April 1898"
On white adhesive tag: "Pen"
Good condition. Scuffed, fingerprints, emulsion impacted, mat cut to print size.
