Photo of inside Bennett Hardware. James A. Bennett, Sr., Ed F. Bennett, Loren Earlen, Tom Reid. Taken sometime between 1900 and 1905. This photo was sent to Ed Bennett by Charlie Ross early day resident of Rawlins. He left Rawlins in 1912. This photo was found among his father's photos. You see ranges, parlor stoves, lamps and teakettles.

Black & white print. Snapshot. Mounted on tan matboard. Image of the interior of a store. Floor to ceiling shelves along right wall with display cases & heating stoves in front. Cooking stoves & shelves along left wall. Room filled to capacity. Four men in photo. Written in blue ink on image surface are numbers 1 to 4 on or by each man for identification.
Printed in lower left: "Reistle, Eng."
Appears to be an image from an off-set printing process rather than photo processing - no emulsion.

Mounted on acidic matboard. Cut down from original size - edges rough & uneven. Pin hole at center top edge. Surface missing on image at lower right, upper left & at corners. Lower right corner bent. Bent vertically through center.Collection
