Update 2009: Black and white print snapshot which has been removed from a black page with remnants attached on left side. Print is of three men standing in a horizontal row on a wooden sidewalk in the front of a building with a large many paned window on the photo left. In the background a man is sitting on a long narrow bench with the building serving as the backrest. Another man is standing in background on photo right. Man on left is wearing jean, pull on shirt and cap. The heavy man on his left is wearing coveralls and brimmed hat. The man on photo right is wearing jeans, long sleeved colored shirt with a short sleeve shirt over it and a white collar shirt with tie under the other two shirts. His hands are behind his back. A sign on building front is barely visible behind men and reads, "Slater Post Office". Another writing is not readable.
Written on lower left corner front surface in blue green ink: "Given by Mrs. Shafer."
Written on back in black ink: "Large man in the center is Robert McIntosh. Had a store and Post Office at Slater located on the boundary line between Colorado and Wyoming.
Fair condition with developing irregularities on side left and bottom edge consisting of black developing lines and blurs. Print is very soiled and worn with bends and cracks in emulsion at all corners and eroding of emulsion on edges.Collection
