Black and white studio portrait on a black mat. Image of a seated woman and two young girls standing at her sides. The girls are wearing dark coats with fur stole around their necks and down the front. Their hands are in a fur muffler. The dark fur is trimmed in white fur. An embroidered lace collar is around their necks and extends over their shoulders. Their beret style ahts are light colored with larger crowns, girl on left with a dark design on crown and girl on right has a brooch pined on a foldered and tucked crown. The woman is wearing a dark, ornately trimmed long dress with lace jabot at neck. Her hat is a dark, wide brimmed with black feathers on top. A vine, dark border is around the image. Written in black ink on back: "Mrs. S. J. Sharp, Mary and Ruth." In blue ink : "Ranch at Whisky Gap Carbon Co. Wyo." Stamped in green at bottom back: "J. H. Clark's Gallery of Photography Academy, W. Va."
Good condition. Scratch at right side; top and bottom corners worn and paper missing; liquid stain on back of mat. All corners on mat back wrinkled and paper missing.Collection
