Fabric or article of clothing hanging at left. May have been taken in a mercantile store.
Written on back in pencil: "Winter of 1897".
Mounted on acidic matboard. Badly yellowed. Back soiled. Image loose in lower right corner-bent and emulsion cracked; torn in upper right corner. Light splash in lower left . Surface missing from lower right. Image surface scratched and soiled. Faded. Mat warped.Collection
