Description

A Native American necklace and earrings composed of a mixture of beads: blue, white with red and blue interspersed, and various sizes of off white bone tube? pieces. At various places there is an attached brass thimble, a brass bell, and a flattened penny on the necklace. Donor states that some of the beads are Italian milflora trade beads. The pair of earrings contain coins. One earring is a buff head nickel,1937, and one earring is composed of two Indian head pennies dated 1903 & 1905. The necklace measures 14" and has a metal clasp closure. Donor states that she bought the items in Rapid City, SD in the 1980's.
