A black and white print, 6 1/4" x 8 3/4," attached to tan mat. Image shows the interior of an early day shoe shine shop. On side right are two men, a boy, and a woman, each sitting in chairs placed on an elevated platform. A young man, wearing a dark suit with a white cloth in his hands is standing on the floor in front of the stand preparing to "shine" the first man's shoes. An ornate cash register is in the foreground on counter with merchandise to the left. Various light fixtures hang from the ceiling. Large stove pipe is at back wall. Fair condition. Soiled.
