A manilla folder made into a scrapbook with a brad and string closure. Written on top cover in green ink: Given to Carbon County Museum by Mrs. Irene Marvin. Kept when she was the Historian for the Carbon County Historical Society. Title at center, "Wyoming History 1869-1883."
Dates of clippings are 1/1/1958-1/1/1959. Subjects include: donation of Judge T. Blake Kennedy's papers to University of Wyoming; Governor John Campbell's complaints about the Fort Laramie Treaty and the land ceded to the Native Americans, 1868, (several columns deal with this subject); murder of Mr. Oliver Lamereaux; Wind River Indian Reservation;
