A pair of Native American made leather gloves. They are made of off white leather and decorated with two U. S. flags on cuffs with red, white, blue beads. A long red beaded stripe is on each side of the glove on cuff and into the body of the glove. A tiny blue and white beaded line runs across the top edge of the glove. A teepee at center is composed of purple beads with white "pole" on sides. Smaller triangles are on either side of the large teepee with yellow and orange beads. A smaller teepee is at bottom using mainly turquoise and yellow beads. Gloves are misshapen and heavily soiled. They measure 8.5" long at center end to end, 4.5" wide at cuff edge. Object donated was not part of the original Cook contract. Note: photo shows only one glove, the other is an identical mate.Collection
