Color snapshots, 11 view of a Bicentennial parade in Saratoga. Update July 2011: 11 color snapshot prints of a parade in Saratoga, WY in 1976. View 1. A white with red & blue stripes, International Scout vehicle that has a sign on the side reading "Saratoga Town Council". A large building & other vehicles are in the background. Good condition. Size 3 1/4 x 3 1/2" View 2. A green pickup truck that has "Smokey the Bear" & a sign in the back. There are crepe paper streamers from the hood over the cab to the sign & on to the trailer pulled by the pickup. The sign in the truck bed reads: "Wise Forest Management Will be the Key for the Bicentennial". A sign on the truck side reads: "The Future will Provide Forest Use for All If We ..." The trailer is out of view of the photo. Behind, a sign on a business building reads: "Foster Lumber Co., Inc." Good condition. Size 3 1/4 x 3 1/2" View 3. 4 horseback riders, the lead is a man carrying a United States Flag followed by a woman wearing a long dress & blue bonnet. They are followed by 2 more women on horseback dressed in Western attire. Good condition. Size 3 1/4 x 3 1/2" View 4. 2 floats on trailers, the one on photo right has people standing & sitting & is flying a Wyoming & a United States flag. A sign hanging from the trailer reads: "America Land of "(out of photo). On photo left trailer is decorated with sage brush & people dressed in early settler attire. Good condition. Size 3 1/4 x 3 1/2" View 5. A flat bed trailer with corral pole railing. A band is inside & the perimeter of the trailer is decorated with sage brush. A sign hanging on the trailer reads: "Then and Now" Good condition. Size 3 1/4 x 3 1/2" View 6. A semi trailer carries women in long dresses, 2 hold up a red, white & blue quilt, one is by a hand water pump & a clothes line has items hanging. the word "Progress" is all that is seen of the sign beneath the trailer. Good condition. Size 3 1/4 x 3 1/2" View 7. A semi trailer with people seated around tables dressed in early settlers attire. A sign on the front reads: "Odd Fellows 1819-1976". Good condition. Size 3 1/4 x 3 1/2" View 8. A low flat bed trailer pulled behind a tractor. On the trailer is a tee-pee & children dressed in Native American attire. People & cars are beyond the trailer. Good condition. Size 3 1/4 x 3 1/2" View 9. A blue van with a 3 layer cake on top. The cake is white decorated with blue & pink crepe paper & an eagle on top. A lady stands on top of the van. A sign on the side of the van reads: "1776 Happy Birthday 1976" The van pulls a low trailer on which people are standing. Good condition. Size 3 1/4 x 3 1/2" View 10. A blue & brown Chevy Blazer pulls a trailer with wood sides. A man is dressed as Uncle Sam & flags fly from the trailer. A couple more people are on the trailer beside a ballot box with a red "X" beside the name "Sam". A sign on the side reads: "Now as Then Sam is our Man" Good condition. Size 3 1/4 x 3 1/2" View 11. A long flat bed trailer is decorated like a saloon,. On one end is a bar with people on both sides, a dance hall girl, men playing cards at a table & on the other end a piano & player with a man sitting on top of th piano holding reins in his hands. Good condition. Size 3 1/4 x 3 1/2"
