Rawlins, 1890. Freight teams on Front Street. Update July 2011: Color print card of freight wagons on the 300 block of Front street. Canvas on wagons reads: "Wyoming Transportation Co. J. W. Hugus" Business buildings are behind them consisting of: "The Capitol, Photographs". Wagons are hitched to mules. Printed in upper left in red: "Rawlins, Wyoming 1890" Printed on back in black: "Postkarte Carte post le ...." (all in foreign language in upper left corner). Good condition. Tack hole in top, scuffed, scratched, edges & corners worn & paper missing, soiled. Note from Rans Baker: "Circa 1890's hauling supplies to gold Hill Mining Camp"
