At left side, the large building is the Wyoming State Penitentiary. Court House & Central School are largest buildings at center. Ferris Hotel is large building at right center. No trees to speak of. Rocky slope in foreground. Various homes & businesses labeled in pencil with lines on emulsion. Mostly homes of friends.

Written on back: [pencil] "When we left R. - was 1500 is about 3,000 now" [black ink] "I do not know when this was taken but we left for Salt Lake City, about 1894."
