13 color snapshot prints of a historical trek to Hanna, Carbon, Medicine Bow & Laramie.
view 1 is of a large open pit with a drag line setting on the pit bank top in the distance. A dozer is also on the bank on pot right.
Good condition. Top left paper missing, adhesive tape on the back. Size 3 1/2 x 5"
View 2 is a drag line with bucket in operation dumping the load. A long crane like arm is attached to a cable holding the bucket. Pit is in foreground.

View 3. Piles of coal or dirt beneath two silo looking towers with a conveyor belt on frame attached.

View 4. Foreground is pit with tracks in the dirt. A swivel dozer with an arm & bucket is on the bank. In the distance is a dragline behind a cloud of dust.

View 5. A layered dirt & rock wall above a hole tunneled into the lower edge. Large rocks are below the pit.

View 6. A man stands beside a wood sign on which is written "Medicine Bow - Wyoming Territory 1876-1976" Brands are burned into the boards beneath & on bottom board: "Brands Helped Tame The West" A wagon wheel is on each side of the sign & a wood building is beside the sign.

View 7. View of a multi level stone building with a 2 level roof & many windows. Two doors are on the ground level & cars are parked in front. A lower, flat roof building is on photo right & attached to the hotel. The building is the "Virginian in Medicine Bow, WY"
