Description

Black & white print on tan mat. Image of a 2 horse drawn wagon. The wagon load is a large horizontal wood barrel. It is round, curved shape with bands around the outside, like an extremely large liquor keg. One man sets on the driver's seat holding the reins & another stands on the dirt street with his right hand on the step mounted on the barrel. Store fronts are behind the wagon: "Furniture" "Merchandise" "Senate Saloon Jas. H. Clause" "Market" A note attached reads: "Picture dated August 1901" "Senate Saloon opened by Jas Clause in May 1886. New front on his building east of Senate in Oct. of 1891" (Note removed) In lower left corner in red: "Brown Rawlins, Wyoming" Fair condition. Badly scratched, soiled, liquid stain all over mat & print, mat corners & edges paper missing & worn, scuffed, paper missing on print top right.
