Update 2008: Black and white print. Studio portrait. Oval mounted on black matboard. Head and shoulders portrait of a young man dressed in a dark suit, light patterned vest, light patterned tie and white shirt with high starched collar. Appears to have been taken at the same time as 1948.037.0239.
Engraved in the upper right corner of mat in gold: "The Ferris Studio".
In relief at center bottom of mat: [tipi logo] "Rawlins, Wyo."/
Written on back in pen: "Jim Bennett" "Copied".
White adhesive label on back: "Bennett".
Mounted on acidic matboard. Mat back scuffed; mat front slightly soiled and scuffed. Image surface scuffed and slightly scratched. Slight corner damage.
Two(2) 4 7/8 x 3 1/2 black and white copy prints cropped to image.
1. Written on back in black ink:"Jim Bennett" "34-35".
