Description

Dixon Savery looking east from Station 377, Nov. 1946. Update 2008: Black and white print. Snapshot. Image of a dirt road running through a snowy landscape with fences on either side. Right side shows trees, bushes and utility poles along fence line. Groves of trees and structures in the background. Written on back in pencil: "S-43(2) Dixon-Savery. Looking East from approx. Sta. 377+00 Nov. 1946 K.H.O." "8". Stamped in red ink on back: "971" Scalloped edge around image. Writing on back impacting emulsion surface throughout. Emulsion cracked through center at center right side and lower right. Emulsion crazed. Back soiled and yellowed, front edges soiled.
