Bridge over North Platte at Ft. Steele, 1930 and one neg.
Update 2009: Black and white print of side view of bridge. Bridge structure has over the top metal supports, metal side braces extending to ends of bridge. Vertical metal ends with two rail top extending to roadway. Water can be seen flowing under bridge. A vintage car is beginning to cross bridge on photo left.
Written on back in black ink: "Bridge over North Platte River. 14 miles east of Rawlins, Wyo. on Lincoln Highway-U.S. 30, built 1939-30. 20' roadway 180' Ctr span with 2-60' thru PL-G Approaches all footing on hard shale 7/29/37 W.H. F"
Stamped in pink ink on back "State Highway Dept. Cheyenne, Wyo."
Condition is good. Top right corner bent, top center emulsion cracked.
One copy, black and white print. Written on top border in black ink: "623a Finished structure: Written on bottom border in black ink: "Ft. Steele Br. May 1930 F.A.P. 186B Cb4"
Written on back in pencil: "Ft. Steele Bridge 1930". Some writing partially covered by black paper and adhesive.
Condition good. Brown paper tabs and adhesive on corners, black paper and adhesive on back corners, top left corner brown paper and adhesive, scratched, emulsion cracked.
Two copy black and white contract print. Written on left border 326a, irregular borders . Written on back in pencil: Bridge over North Platte at Ft. Steele 1930".
Condition good. Right edge has been cut, scratched.
