An 12" (high) x 8" (outstretched arms width) Cheyenne doll with beaded face and long black buffalo hair, ca. 1910. Doll's hair is 7.5" in length, somewhat matted. Doll is soft stuffed and has tan suede arms and legs. She is wearing an elaborately fringed and beaded soft leather dress composed of beaded geometric designs at upper shawl bodice level composed of white purple, green, beads predominately with a beaded self tie belt and decorative beaded bands at center and lower edges. Decorative beads at these levels are primarily light blue, green and white with some purple. Doll wears two strands of looped beaded earrings-primarily gold, purple, white. Leather overskirts are placed over soft leather leggings. The skirts are tied at side left and right. Beaded footwear on feet. Doll is more soiled than 2018.236.12.6.Collection
