Description

Sepia print carte-de-visite. Image of an infant seated on a floral & leaf throw blanket in a chair. the infant wears a light colored, layered, short sleeve gown, socks & dark shoes. The infant has dark hair parted in the middle. Printed at bottom of picture: "Photographed by J. G. Head,Main St., Havana, Ill." Written on back in black ink: "For Amelia & Maggie Bennett" "G. Arthur Yardley age 11 months & 5 days Aug. 22, 1890?" Good condition. Top left corner bent, scuffed, wrinkled, soiled, accretion top left, corners worn.
