North Platte River bridge at Ft. Steele, Nov. 19, 1929.
Update 2009: Black and white print of bridge under construction. To both ends of the bridge are long vertical metal panels, on them is written "American Bridge Co." About half of upright metal supports and overhead supports are up on bridge. On the photo left bridge there is a crew of men working erecting more supports. Water and ice are under bridge.
Written on back in black ink:"Ft. Steele Bridge over North Platte River Stub Erection on Nov 19, 1929". Stamped on back: "VELOX".
Condition is good. Writing on back has impacted emulsion.
Copy 1, black and white print written on back in pencil: "Steele Bridge 1929". Writing covered by black paper and adhesive. Written in black ink on top border: "622a Ft. Steele Br. Nov. 1929". Written in black ink on bottom border: "F.A.P. 186B C64". Brown paper tabs on corners.
Condition is good. Wrinkled, scratched, creased.
Copy 2, black and white print. Written on back in black ink: "North Platte River Bridge at Ft. Steele 11-19-29 1-180' Truss, 2-60' appr. spans." Stamped on back in black ink: "Wyoming Highway Department Photo."Collection
