Update 2009: Black and white studio print attached to a beige mat which has been cut off on all edges leaving an irregular border. Print shows a family portrait with an older man and woman seated on a wooden padded seat settee. Standing behind them are three young men dressed in dark three piece suits with high neck white collars with wide dark ties. The two young men on side right have watch fob chains showing on their vests. Background scenery consists of a grandfather type clock an stained glass window with high multi shade lamp to its right .The older man seated on settee is wearing dark three piece suite, white shirt, with black bow tie. His hair and mustache is gray. The older woman has her hair in an updo and is dressed in a long sleeved, long skirted black dress with high neck collar and bodice lapels decoration. She holds a book in her lap. A patterned rug is on the floor with lace curtain hanging side left.
Written on back in pencil: " Feb 15, 1896. Alice. Mr. & Mrs. LeSurid and boys. We called Mrs. - Aunt Velarah. Edith was named after her."

Good condition . Mat is extremely soiled front and back with missing areas of surface on side left. All sides of mat surfaces are extremely soiled, with smudges, blemishes, small dots of residue. Print has many scratches, some deep. Tiny remnant of black residue on side right of print. Several scuff marks and indentions in emulsion on various areas. Top side left of print is lifted up at corner from mat with a bend in corner resulting in crease.Collection
