Update 2008: Black and white cabinet card 4 1/4 x 6 1/2, mounted to tan matboard. Portrait of four men with a backdrop scene of brick wall, Victorian house, foliage and a staircase. The two men in front are seated on chairs dressed in dark suits and ties. They both have large mustaches. The man on left has a fancy walking stick in his right hand holding it upright. Man on right is holding a black bowler hat in his lap with his hands on each side of the brim. The man standing up photo left rear is wearing black 3 piece suite with white shirt and cravat. He is holding a black bower hat with crown side up in his right hand. He has medium hair and large mustache. The man on right rear has 3 piece suit on with wide black patterned tie tied with two flaps showing. He is clean shaven and wearing a pair of pince-nez glasses. Flooring of studio is a decorative checked linoleum which is cracked and worn.
Condition good. Mat is soiled on photo front an back with soiling and wear on all edges. Residue, slight of red and black specks on photo front surface. Scratches and stains on lower half of top surface as well as abrasions in emulsion.
