Photo of Aero Station operated by Dave Rusk. Built in 1924. First at the corner of 8th and Cedar in 1922.
Update - January 2010: Black & white print. Snapshot. Image of a brick filling station with covered pump islands. Spanish tile roof with signs on both arms "AERO STATION". Single pump on each island & air hoses hanging from each brick column on both islands. Small office building at center with door at one corner. Two men standing in doorway. Vintage automobiles & buildings in background. 300 block 5th street.
Written on back: [blue ink] "Daves Filling Station on 5th & Buffalo-" [black ink] "Copied by State mounted" [pencil] "Neg No. 6646".
Stamped on back in black: "Neg. No. [written ink] "6646" "Print No" [written ink] "97".
Paper yellowed. Soiled front & back. Bent from center top to center right edge - emulsion cracked. Corner damage - emulsion cracked in lower left corner. Small tear in top edge left of center - emulsion cracked. Emulsion surface missing along diagonal crack. Yellow stains in lower right. Emulsion cracked in lower right; scratched overall.
