Update 2/2010: Black and white print. Snapshot. Mounted on grey matboard with brown border and image frame stripes. Image of two men on horseback stopped on a dirt street near a concrete curb. Houses with concrete sidewalks and grass yards, trees in a strip of grass between curb and sidewalk. Man at right is riding a light colored horse with dark spots. Man at left is on a dark horse. Both men are wearing suits, gloves, glasses and hats.
Engraved in black ink at center bottom of mat: "Rosner, Rawlins, Wyo".
Written in blue ink in lower left mat margin: "J.A. Hobbs & W.H. Weaver of Rawlins".
Written on back in blue ink: "Copied by State". In black ink: "Mounted". "People II-V". In light blue ink : "2". In pencil: "Page 76, pix 2 7/8 x 5 77%". In pencil on white adhesive label pasted to back: "Weaver".
Mounted on acidic matboard. Corner and edge damage. Back badly soiled and stained. Mat front badly soiled-liquid spots. Red stains on image at center and right side; image surface soiled and scratched.
