Photo of Johnson and Baker crossing a river on the way to Lander with their photography equipment. N. J. Johnson was a brother to Mrs. Louie Schalk. He came in 1883 with Nathan Baker.
Update 1/2008: Black and white print. Image of wagon stuck in river. Wagon pulled by two horses, one light, one dark. Man on wagon appears to be about to hit horses with reins. other man pulling on wheel. Wagon in water up to axles. Background rolling hill, short brush. Wagon fully loaded.
